I can see arguing for no camping there - best notion I've heard is the East River Park South of 23rd St - but what use is the lawn if not a venue for massive crowds ? I posted Stern's comments because that's what the platoons of cops keeping everybody off the place will claim . BTW : I'm really sad that , partially because of my own MIA= status this last month , we will have no presence at the Mermaid= Parade tomorrow - not even an OPH booth on the boardwalk .
