The rest of the occupied territories were being= run as a police state for a while, but now they've devolved into= kleptocracies - there isn't enough money floating around to pay all the police,= so the so called "preventative security forces" are stealing stuff or= demanding bribes on a regular basis. And regardless of whether there's a police state in Israel, the single largest cause of death and injuries, by far[*], is= motor vehicle collisions. [* except for one month, I think March or= April 2002, where suicide bombs managed to "win"]. I never heard= anyone say that Mussolini managed to reduce traffic deaths.
