 no non-smoking bars before the Ban . 

 The figure I heard at the City Council hearings was that
 approximately 10000 of the city's 40000 liquor licenses were
 to non-smoking places . I have posted that fact a long time
 ago .

 There already was a very substantial non-smoker market
 segment . The places might have been boring as hell and only
 serve wine , no tap , but they were there .

 Why do so many intelligent members of this group waste their
 thoughts and words on those who just suck their time and
 energies interminably ?
