Subject: Reg. "Stocks Futures & Options" Magazine....[October 2003 issue - Vol. 2, No. 10] Date: Fri, 19 Sep 2003 18:15:18 -0700 (PDT) To: Bob Armstrong , From: Estelle Edwards It's not often that I get excited about an article I've read to the extent that I want to share it with everybody else. But I think that even Barry would love to read the interview of adventure capitalist Jim Rogers. The man says very interesting things along Libertarian lines: about the cost of meddling in other parts of the world, the cost of protectionism, and practicing dangerous monetary policies. Also, he makes reference to how other countries are starting to emulate the bad practices of the United States where monetary policy is concerned. Barry, maybe this particular article could be part of your next discussion group! (Sorry I couldn't make it Wednesday, but I had to attend the mandatory company meeting at some country club place in Glen Cove, exit 39 off the LIE. By the time I got back, I didn't want to make the trip back down to Commack.) I've been getting SFO for quite some time, now. I forget how I stumbled across the magazine. All I know is it began as a free trial subscription, and I have yet to receive a bill. The issues keep coming....! Please read this particular article. It's entertaining as well as informative! Bruce, I tried to call you this evening, but you were out..I got Crystal. That's when I decided to just email everybody in our Libertarian circle. article info: pg. 22 - 'Back From The Global Highways, the Adventure Capitalist Speaks Out' NOTE: Very provocative view of this man known as Allan Greenspan, whose importance, according to Mr. Rogers, is highly exaggerated! __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
