 I'm totally with Willie and Travis on this .

 Democracy brings market choice to the control of the
 geographic monopolies .

 I believe the more direct the democracy the better .
 It increases the rate at which the population makes
 mistakes ( witness NYC's first council to be a product
 of term limits ) . But that's the only path to knowledge .  

 A "benevolent king" is an oxymoron .
