 Dinesh D'Sousa was flanked by Cato on his left and The Nation
 on his right . And his logic , tho invoking the American ideal
 of "the Self-directed Individual" , was Alpine Lace .

 During the Q&A , I got in one of the last questions .=
 Necessarily
 paring down to a single point , I said ( approximately ) :

  I'm Bob Armstrong , Manhattan Libertarian DAD , Drug Affairs=
 Director .
  And of all your inconsistent thoughts I'd like to ask just this=
 .

  You apparently don't live in here in NYC where a third of the=
 population
  has just been criminalized in the extension of the War on some=
 drugs
  to enjoying the herb that made America in bars that chose to=
 allow it .
 
  Is this the freedom you intend to impose on the rest of the=
 world ?

 It got strong applause - I believe , the only question that did=
 .

 Given the format , it never got answered .

 At the reception afterwards ( snagged 3 Hinnies ) , several=
 people 
 complemented me on the question , and I took the time to get=
 one
 signature on the smoking petition .
