The observation about the proposed structure possibly leading to= a second round race between a pair of Democrats I don't think= comes close to outweighing the benefits of making the primary first= round truly open . It provides the "audience aggregation" to make it reasonable for organizations , and even perhaps NY1 or at least NYC TV to have multi-candidate debates for each district where= all the messages and messengers can make their cases . This has to be good for us . Furthermore , with the democrat vote split between their= multiple candidates it seems less likely that they will continue to= dominate . What a slick tick on the pol (= which I was told yesterday comes from Amos & Andy ) . ) a couple of weeks ago . It was clear the Dem bosses and the public unions were desperate= to keep their monopoly .
